It’s time for Paws in the Park! What better way to celebrate spring than to spend a day outside with your favorite dog! The Montgomery County Humane Society, in partnership with the City of Gaithersburg, is celebrating the 20th Paws in the Park fundraiser! Bring your dog, and meet new friends and animal lovers for an afternoon of music, food, vendors, game, and contests. You can show off your dog at this annual spring event hosted by Jen Richer of 94.7 Fresh FM’s The Tommy Show, Some of the contests will include best dressed dog, owner/pet look-alike and best “stay.” You and your pup can run through the K9 Agility Center, and help the homeless animals in our community. There will be a 1-mile walk which begins at 2 p.m.
Pre-registration tickets closed on April 20. Now the tickets are $25 for Adults and children 12 and older. Children 12 and under, free. Attendees receive an aluminum water bottle courtesy of Herson’s Auto Group and a goody bag — while supplies last.
Participants can help fundraise for the Montgomery County Humane Society by creating a personal fundraising page and asking friends and family to support them. The goal of the MCHS to end animal homelessness in our community is an important one!
