The Gables is a popular twenty nine year old community of condominiums just off Tuckerman Lane in Rockville Maryland. The Gables has a variety of floorplans and sizes to choose from, including patio condominiums and two level homes. Home sizes range from approximately 700 square feet for a one bedroom one bath to nearly 1300 square feet for a three bedroom three bath home.
The community has a outdoor pool and an exercise room for the residents. It is close to Metro, a public park, and tennis courts. There is lots of parking for residents in this tree shaded community, and it is very pet friendly! With its gazebos, waterfalls, ponds and migratory birds, the Gables seems like a community in the country, but it is just five minutes from I-270 and a short drive to shopping at the new Pike and Rose on the Rockville Pike and Wildwood Shopping Center with Balducci’s, Geppetto’s, Starbucks, South Moon Under and lots of other options.

5 two bedroom two bath units sold in the last six months. These condos ranged in size from 1017 square feet to 1038 square feet. Prices for these two bedroom two bath condos ranged between $370,000 and $386,500 in the first half of 2016.
4 two bedroom two and a half bath condos have sold in the last six months. These units all are 1083 square feet in size and ranged in price between $356,000 and $383,000. With a condo fee of $375 a month, these spacious condos clearly add up to great value.
