There are several great farmers markets you can go to in Montgomery County. Each one is a little different from the others, so here is a list of what you can find, where and when they are held, and why you should check them out.
What: Bethesda Central Farm Market
Where: 7600 Arlington Boulevard, Bethesda
When: Open Sundays, 9:00am to 1:00pm, April to December, and Sundays 10:00am to 1:30pm, January to March

Why: Here you will find a lovely blend of vendors that are both local and regional, offering a huge range of fresh seasonal products that include specialty cheeses, seafood, and other tasty treats.
What: Olney Farmers and Artists Market
Where: 2801 Olney-Sandy Spring Road, Olney
When: Open Sundays, 9:00am to 1:00pm, May to November

Why: Absolutely everything you would expect from a farmer’s market can be found here in abundance. Located in downtown Rockville, there is plenty of parking and it is easy to get to. Offering fruits, flowers, honey, jams, jellies, bedding, clothing, handcrafted items, and much more.
What: Fulks Corner Farmers Market
Where: Route 355 and Fulks Corner Avenue, Gaithersburg
When: Open Thursdays, 12:30pm to 6:00pm, May to November
Why: Fill yourself up on the delicious food available. A large number of local vendors sell fresh fruit and vegetables that change weekly depending on the time of year and the availability of mature crops. You can also sample some mouthwatering cider which is produced locally, along with fresh flowers, jams, honey, eggs, meat, baked goods, and many other items.
What: Main Street Farmers & Artists Market
Where: 301 Main Street, Gaithersburg (in the pavilion)
When: Saturdays, 9:00am to 2:00pm, year-round
Why: Here you will find a large range of diverse produce from local farmers such as honey, jams and jellies, fresh fruits and vegetables, plants and flowers, baked goods, eggs, and even tasty canine treats! Also, a number of talented local artists come here to sell their handcrafted items, including anything from yard art to jewelry.
What: Montgomery Village Farmers Market
Where: 9801 Centerway Road, Montgomery Village
When: Saturdays, 9:00am to 1:00pm, June 2nd to October 27th
Why: This farmers market has been in operation since 2010! With a huge range of fresh fruits, vegetables, poultry, pastries and other sweet treats, there are endless possibilities. A selection of beer and wine is also available.
